Samantha* is scared to go to High School since there were antisemitic symbols painted in the bathroom. Her classmates don’t understand her feelings about Israel. She is one of the only Jewish students in her class and has never felt lonelier. So she is starting a Jewish club to promote unity and education amongst her Jewish friends.
Dave is feeling for the first time in many years an urgency to connect with his Judaism. It was never important to him to be active in the community, but a few weeks ago he wanted to be a-part-of instead of watching from a distance. He took part in his first Shabbat dinner in 30 years.
Your gift will give Samantha the resources to launch her club. And it will give more Daves the Jewish experience they so desperately need.
